Telly Savalas hosted this one of a kind special from Lee Mendelson Productions for ABC. Wholly sponsored by Wrigley's Gum, the hour show profiled the Soviet and American contenders for the "gold", leading up to the 1976 Olympics. Among those profiled was Bruce Jenner. The rest is history.
